Một trong những hạng mục kiểm tra là kiểm tra độ cứng và ngành công nghiệp cao su thường gọi loại A là “shore-A” và loại D là “shore-D”. Ngoài ra, loại C cho phạm vi độ cứng thấp được gọi là ASKER và GS-701N(G) là cùng một sản phẩm ASKER-C. Sản phẩm này tuân thủ kiểm tra độ cứng của JIS S 6050 “Tẩy nhựa”.

Compliance with JIS K 7312 standard
Standard about physical test method of polyurethane Elastomer.
In addition, type C for low hardness range is called ASKER and GS-701N(G) is the same product ASKER-C.
It complies with hardness test of JIS S 6050 “Plastic eraser”.
Furthermore, SRIS 0101 (ex Society of Rubber Industry, Japan standard of Measurement) which was the base of these standards was already discontinued, but only type name is remaining.
