ASKER DD5-TYPE C rubber durometer is the world standard for measuring the hardness of soft rubber, sponge, etc. This rubber durometer is approved in the JIS K 7312 standard. ASKER DD5-TYPE C is suitable for measuring the hardness of soft rubber, various foams, rubber rolls, fiber package hardness, clay, china clay and other soft materials.

■ Indenter

The shape of the indenter is a hemisphere with a height of 2.54 mm.

■ Minimum reading value

The minimum reading is 0.1 points.

■ Peak holding function

The peak hold function makes it easy to read the maximum value, and is particularly useful for accurately measuring the hardness of samples where stress relaxation occurs (the reading drops immediately after pressure is applied).

■ Timer holding function

The timer hold function allows you to hold the measured value for any time between 1 and 15 seconds.
Peak hold value and timer hold value can be obtained simultaneously with one measurement.

■ Interface box

Communication with external devices such as PCs is possible by connecting via USB or RS-232C. *Selectable
