BOILER AND COOLING TOWER WATER CONTROL

Corrosion can occur in many key areas of a boiler. It can shorten the life of the boiler, or at the very least, increase the costs associated with boiler maintenance. Corrosion can form in the water heater, deaerator, superheater tubes, and economizer, among other places. Monitoring the alkalinity, chloride, hardness, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, and sulfite levels in the cooling system and boiler is essential to prevent dangerous or costly situations.
