Ammonia detection, fire prevention in electrical equipment during power generation
In addition to hydrogen, ammonia is another next-generation energy source that does not emit CO2 when used. It is also gaining attention as a fuel for ships and hydrogen transport vehicles, and we are developing ammonia sensors suitable for these applications. We also believe that our odor level indicator can be used to predict and detect fires in electrical equipment in the renewable energy sector, such as solar panels and wind power generation.
Our gas detection and alarm system is used at about 80% hydrogen stations in Japan.
PD-12 Gas Detector
The ATEX aspirating detector has a very robust design. Suitable for detecting a wide range of flammable and toxic gases in industrial applications and locations with limited access.
A unique detector in an ATEX housing with integrated pump.
There are 3 models available:
PD-12A for measuring flammable gases in ppm range
PD-12B for measuring flammable gases in the range of %LEL
PD-12C for measuring flammable gases in %vol. range
As hydrogen is increasingly used as a new energy source, hydrogen infrastructure, including hydrogen stations, will also increase. In anticipation of the arrival of a hydrogen society, our company began developing hydrogen selectivity hot wire semiconductor sensor about 40 years ago. Our unique technology makes it possible to selectively detect hydrogen at levels of 1000ppm (0.1%) or less, even in places where other gases are present in the vicinity. This gas sensors sensor is installed in the gas alarm installed in the dispenser of hydrogen stations.
