Force and mechanical measuring equipment
The HI766F is a K-type thermocouple probe designed with a flexible housing for use with a handheld thermometer. A 1 m (3.3') cable runs from the end of the sensor to connect the meter to the probe; the HI766F does not include a handle. The stainless steel probe is flexible for accurate measurement of high sample surface temperatures.

The HI766F Flexible Housing K-Type Thermocouple Probe is designed to measure the temperature of solids and high temperature sample surfaces that can be difficult to measure with traditional thermocouple probes. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensing surface relative to the surface being measured. The HI766F is designed with a flexible housing for a fast 4 second response time. Constructed of corrosion resistant AISI 316 stainless steel, the HI766F probe can measure extremely hot surfaces up to 1100°C (2000°F).
