The HALO® Wireless Wine pH Electrode combines Bluetooth® Smart technology with an application-specific design. There are several features that make it ideal for measuring the pH of wine.

NORMAL GLASS (GP)

Gives best response over the entire pH range and can be used for a variety of applications.

BUILT-IN TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The HI10482 has a built-in temperature sensor to measure temperature and compensate for the measured pH value.

Movable CPS BODY TUBE

Clogging prevention system (CPS) technology is designed to measure pH in wine waters and must sample high solids content. CPS technology uses a ground glass junction that allows proper fluid flow with a PTFE sleeve to eject solids. When HALO becomes dirty, the PTFE sleeve can be moved to clean the ground glass surface rejuvenating the junction resulting in 20 times longer electrode life.

REAL-TIME DATA

pH and temperature display updated every second. Readings are automatically saved to a history file every hour, limited only by available memory on the device.

FLEXIBLE CHART

Measurements can be displayed on screen, with tabulated data or as a chart. Charts can be zoomed in and out with pinch-to-zoom technology.

GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)

Displays date and time of current calibration, average bias and slope, along with calibrated buffers, mV, temperature and slope values between each buffer.

WARNING WHEN CALIBRATION IS NECESSARY OR OVER MEASUREMENT

The Hanna Lab app notifies you when HALO needs calibration or if measurement thresholds are exceeded.

LOG DATA
Saved log files can be annotated with measurement-specific information. Data is easily shared via email in CSV format.
