Galvanic technology is a passive instrument since the probe spontaneously generates a voltage based on the concentration of dissolved oxygen passing through the membrane and reacting with the electrolyte solution filling the membrane. There is no warm-up time required with galvanic electrodes as the reaction is continuous.
HDPE dissolved oxygen membrane cap is designed as a screw cap that can be easily replaced every 2 months.
Quick DIN PORT FOR ELECTRODE CONNECTION
Helps connect quickly, simply and without twisting or tangling between wires.
The integrated microchip stores information including sensor type, serial number, and calibration information including date, time, and calibration points. This information is automatically retrieved by the HI98199 after electrode plugged in. Communication capabilities allow for quick exchange of electrodes without recalibration. All DO measurements are performed in electrode and is digitally transmitted to the meter.

Only store it dry as in the original picture if not used for a long time because the electrolyte solution will corrode the electrode if no measurement is taken. |
