To reduce common industrial contamination, the electrodes incorporate a polymer reference and double junction technology. This technology eliminates the need for refilling and can be used with samples such as organic compounds, proteins, and heavy metals. Additionally, the pH electrode uses a unique annular PTFE junction that minimizes clogging. The industrial probes have a glass body for use with aggressive chemicals and are easy to clean. A PEI plastic protective sleeve provides mechanical resistance. The operating range is -5 to 80°C (23 to 176°F) and pressures up to 6 bar (87 psi).

The 1000 series electrodes incorporate a BNC connector allowing quick and easy connection to any pH meter; with cable lengths of 3 meters or 5 meters (9.8 or 16 feet).
