The HI1217-1 is a PEI plastic body, single junction pH electrode with a DIN connector. This electrode features a single ceramic junction in the outer reference cell and a spherical pH sensing element. The design is ideal for field measurements as well as general purpose use.

Spherical glass head
Spherical bulbs for general purpose use. Other tip shapes include cone for penetration and flat tip for surface measurements.
Close PEI plastic
Body of HI1217-1 Made of polyetherimide (PEI) resin. The PEI body is suitable for many applications and is highly durable. The protective covering around the spherical glass tip reduces the possibility of electrode breakage due to impact or dropping. PEI resin is a high quality resin that is resistant to many harsh chemicals.
DIN connection
HI1217-1 Uses a DIN connector. This type of connection is universal and can be used on any pH meter with a DIN input. Other types of connections include BNC, screw type, T-type and 3.5mm. Each meter usually has a unique connector and cannot be changed.
