HI7075 is a solution of 1.7M potassium nitrate (KNO3), 0.7M potassium chloride (KCl) to fill the body of a fluoride ion selective electrode. The electrolyte level in the refill electrodes is always checked before any measurements are taken. If this level is low, the appropriate electrolyte solution must be refilled to ensure optimal performance. This simple maintenance helps ensure adequate pressure to drive reference electrolyte flow into the sample being measured.
