The HI88703-11 Turbidity Standard is a simple way to measure and calibrate turbidity meters that have a range of 0 to 4000 NTU. Hanna turbidity standards are traceable to NIST primary standards and come with a certificate of analysis. The certificate of analysis provides the lot number, reference value, and expiration date.
Supplied with certificate of analysis.
AMCO AEPA-1 Turbidity Standard
Long-term stability
Hanna turbidity standards are made from AMCO AEPA-1 material which is very stable and highly reliable in calibration. The particles are chemically inert and maintain their chemical equilibrium in the aqueous medium regardless of concentration. The particle size, uniform shape, and refractive index are ideal for describing light absorption and 90° scattering in the UV-VIS scale. In addition, the spherical shape and size of the particles help prevent standard agglomeration or precipitation. Therefore, AMCO AEPA-1 standards are very stable.
These standards are bottled in a clean room. They are used to check the accuracy and stability of the instrument, and are certified to be free of any chemicals or toxic compounds. All standards are compared with a formazin turbidity standard solution. The values obtained and the date of analysis are reported on the certificate of analysis.
The HI88703-11 is a high quality turbidity calibration standard kit that allows users to validate and calibrate turbidity meters that have a range of 0 to 4000 NTU. The HI88703-11 includes 5 cuvettes with readings of <0.10, 15.0, 100, 750 and 2000 NTU. The standard set is produced in our state-of-the-art facility using NIST reference standards in a temperature-controlled environment.
The HI88703-11 calibration cuvette set is used with the HI83414 and HI88703 turbidimeters. The calibration procedure is quick and easy.
