HIGH STABILITY
The particles are chemically inert and maintain their chemical equilibrium in an aqueous medium regardless of concentration. The particle size, uniform shape, and refractive index are ideal for describing light absorption and 90° scattering in the UV-VIS scale. In addition, the spherical shape and size of the particles help prevent standard agglomeration or precipitation. Therefore, AMCO AEPA-1 standards are very stable. and high reliability in calibration.
These standards are bottled in a clean room used for testing the accuracy and stability of the instrument, and are certified to be free of any chemicals or toxic compounds. All standards are compared with a formazin turbidity standard solution. The values obtained and the date of analysis are reported on the certificate of analysis.
The HI83749-11 is a high quality turbidity calibration standard kit that allows users to validate and calibrate the HI83749 turbidity and bentonite meter. The HI83749-11 includes 4 cuvettes with readings <0.1, 15, 100, and 500NTU. The standards are produced in Hanna's state-of-the-art facility using NIST traceable standards in a temperature-controlled environment.
