HI4013-03 is a 1000 ppm (mg/L) nitrate standard solution. NO3-N.
ISE electrodes require calibration for accurate readings when performing measurement techniques such as direct measurement and incremental methods.
2-point calibration is recommended to increase accuracy.
Volumetric flasks can be used to dilute standard solutions to calibrate the expected concentration of the sample to be measured.
ISE standard solutions and sample solutions should always have the same ionic strength; HI4013-00 Ionic Strength Adjustment Solution (ISA) must be added to all standards and samples prior to measurement.
