WHAT IS ORP STANDARD SOLUTION?
HI7022 is a 470mV ORP standard solution used to test the performance of ORP electrodes. When the ORP electrode is placed in this solution, the reading obtained should be within the range ±10mV of 470mV @25°C. This solution allows the user to quickly check whether the ORP electrodes in use are reading accurately. As a diagnostic tool, the user can then decide whether the ORP electrode needs cleaning and conditioning. The standards are produced in Hanna's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility using pure chemicals in a temperature-controlled environment.

Using |
– Pour enough calibration solution into a clean plastic cup so that the ORP electrode/sensor/junction is completely submerged in the calibration solution. – Calibration: According to the instructions for use of the electrode or meter. – Check accuracy: To put the device in measuring mode, immerse the electrode in the solution, the device will read out the measurement result in value 470± 10mV is normal. If the value is outside this range, treat the electrode with oxidizing or reducing solution, or the electrode may be damaged, contact HANNA technical support at 028.39260.457 for assistance. |
Methods of preservation |
– After use, cover and store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight – Do not dilute or add any chemicals to the solution. – Always use fresh solution for each calibration – ABSOLUTELY do not pour used solution back into the bottle. |
