DIGITAL ELECTRODES
The edge electrode is considered an advanced product with an integrated microchip that has stored calibration information that can be extracted when power is plugged into the machine. The digital electrode is also equipped with a 3.5 mm jack that can be easily attached to the device
When using Hanna electrodes equipped with a matching pin, edge continuously checks the impedance of the pH electrodes to signal in case the glass electrode breaks. During calibration, the “Sensor Check” will check the condition of the connections. Reference joints are also evaluated and reported on the screen.
The 3.5mm round plug makes it easier to remove and install the electrode, avoiding the case of accidentally breaking the pins.
Edge includes a standard USB port for exporting data to a flash drive
A second micro USB port for connecting to a computer for data output and for charging the edge when the charging dock is not available.
Edge allows storing up to 1000 data records. Settable data are value, GLP data, date and time.
