NIR Moisture Analyzer KB-230 is a moisture analyzer that uses near infrared reflection. It is a non-destructive measurement method and the moisture can be measured in real time.
The KB-230 NIR moisture analyzer has been developed to address the above problems as a key concept.
The idea of “emitting light evenly at the bottom of the sample” became a solution. The distance between the sample and the light source is maintained evenly and the error due to grain size is eliminated.
Additionally, the sample cell can be selected from a variety of options.
In addition to Petri dishes, disposable polyethylene bags or sheets can be used, which saves time before and after measurement.
The KB-230 is suitable for locations where multiple samples need to be measured or where quick response is required.

• Two types of measuring modes
There is a normal measurement mode, in which the average of the measurements will be displayed; a continuous measurement mode, in which chronological change of the moisture can be checked.
• Selectable sample cell and measuring method
Not only the accessory Petri dish, the sample cell can be selected from disposable polyethylene bag or sheet. Otherwise, the sample can be placed directly. For samples that are impenetrable to near-infrared, the light shielding cover is not necessary. Therefore, the cover can be removed and the work efficiency will improve
