Light meters can be used to measure the illuminance, or luminous flux, in a given area. The HI97500 is a portable light meter for simple and accurate light measurements in a rugged, water-resistant case for routine outdoor use. The meter is supplied with a light sensor connected by a fixed 1.5 m coaxial cable to allow measurements to be taken from a distance.
Outstanding features
Multiple scales – By simply pressing the Range key, the user can switch between three scales to select the best resolution according to the environment being measured.
Auto shut off feature– To conserve battery life, the HI97500 automatically turns off after 7 minutes of inactivity.
Low battery indicator – When the battery level is low, a “V” symbol on the LCD display flashes to indicate low battery status.
