The testo 521-1 differential pressure gauge is used for accurate differential pressure measurements on air conditioning and ventilation systems. This device is ideal for measuring pressure drop on filters and testing fans and extractors. The testo 521-1 can also perform measurements in ventilation ducts or process air using a Pitot tube (measuring range 5 to 100 m/s).

testo 521-1 also integrates a temperature compensated differential pressure sensor with an accuracy of 0.2 %fv. Additionally, you can add up to 2 compatible probes (optional to order) to the testo 521-1. The measuring heads you can choose from include:

  • Differential pressure measuring head
  • Absolute pressure measuring head
  • Relative pressure measuring head
  • Temperature probe (surface or immersion/penetration)

  • In addition to integrating a differential pressure sensor, the testo 521-1 measuring device is also capable of calculating flow velocity and volumetric flow rate using a Pitot tube (optional to order).
  • The testo 521-1 can also calculate timed and multipoint average values
  • Furthermore, the testo 521-1 can be used for long-term monitoring: measurement data can be saved individually or as a series of measurements
  • Users can customize the measurement cycle and number of values saved. Automatic measurements can be saved in the device with a measurement cycle of 0.04 seconds
  • ComSoft software (optional to order) allows you to perform online measurements and store and analyze measurement data on a computer
  • You can use Testo's fast printer (optional to order) to print data directly at the measurement location
  • You can optionally display one of the following measurement units: mbar, hPa, bar, Pa, kPa, inH2O, mmH2O, torr and psi
  • Displays HOLD, Max/ Min., average values with just one key press
