The device provides 4 measurement scales from 0.0 µS/cm to 199.9 mS/cm with an accuracy of ±1% for each scale. Each elevator has a dedicated button on the machine's surface, allowing users to easily switch between elevators when needed. The machine is programmed to warn the user when the current value is out of range, and select a new range.
1-POINT CALIBRATION
The HI8733 can be calibrated at 1 point for each scale with the appropriate standard solution (purchased separately).
4-RING CONDUCTIVITY ELECTRODE
The 4-ring probe included with the HI8733 measures conductivity in solutions flexibly and accurately. The 4-ring technology allows for measurements over a larger range in a single probe, while the 2-probe technology is somewhat limited to the range that can be measured. The probe comes with a protective PVC tube to ensure durability when measuring outdoors.
AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE COMPENSATION
Since temperature has a great influence on conductivity values, the machine provides temperature compensation. The HI8733 electrode incorporates an automatic temperature sensor to automatically compensate for conductivity values between 0 and 50°C (32 and 122°F). The temperature compensation coefficient, also known as β, defaults to 2%/°C; This factor compensates for EC 2% values for each degree Celsius change in the sample.
SUPPLIED WITH A SHOCK-PROOF SUITABLE
The HI8733 comes with the meter and electrodes contained in a plastic suitcase with a carrying frame to reduce shock and avoid impact when moving.
