The HI99301 is a portable EC/TDS and temperature meter supplied with a dual-ring conductivity probe that allows for measurements over the low EC range of 0.00 to 20.00 mS/cm and TDS from 0.00 to 10.00 ppt. All readings are subject to Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) and the user can adjust the temperature coefficient and TDS coefficient for accurately compensated measurements.

The HI99301 waterproof, portable EC/TDS and temperature meter is suitable for use in a variety of applications such as wastewater treatment, reverse osmosis, and HVAC. It measures conductivity in mS/cm and TDS in ppt. The HI76306 EC/TDS probe is a dual-ring sensor that is resistant to clogging and is easy to clean. The probe also has a built-in temperature sensor that allows for automatic temperature compensation from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F).

The device is easy to operate in the palm of your hand and the connection at the bottom of the probe ensures the cable does not break. Large, multi-level LCD display shows value, temperature, and calibration at the same time. Icons and messages on the LCD screen display machine status and guide the user through operations.

SALIENT FEATURES

2-ring probe – The HI763063 is a dual-ring probe supplied with the HI99301 that allows for accurate low range conductivity and TDS measurements. The probe also incorporates a temperature sensor to allow for automatic temperature compensation.

Two measurement modes – HI99301 offers two measurement modes: EC and TDS. Users can easily switch between measurement modes by simply pressing the MODE button. EC measures from 0.00 to 20.00 mS/cm and TDS from 0.00 to 10.00 ppt

Custom TDS coefficient – The TDS value in aqueous solutions is directly proportional to the conductivity. The ratio between these two parameters depends on the solution being measured. The HI99301 has a TDS adjustment factor of 0.45-1.00 with an interval of 0.01, allowing the appropriate conversion factor to be selected for specific solutions.

Automatic temperature compensation – Because temperature has a great influence on conductivity and TDS values, the machine provides temperature compensation mode. The HI99300's probe integrates an automatic temperature sensor to automatically compensate for temperatures between 0 and 60°C (32 and 140°F).

Customizable temperature compensation coefficient – Temperature compensation coefficient, also known as β, is adjustable from 0.0 – 2.4%/°C with 0.1% intervals

Automatic calibration – The HI99301 can be automatically calibrated at one point with EC or TDS standards. The 12.88 mS/cm standard is used for EC calibration, and the meter will automatically calibrate for TDS. However, if the meter is in TDS measurement mode and the conversion factor is set to 0.5, it is recommended to calibrate directly with the 6.64 ppt TDS standard.

Battery Error Prevention System (BEPS) – Notification when the battery becomes too weak to ensure reliable measurements.

Stable icon – The HI99301 displays a clock that will disappear when the value reaches stability.
