+ HI5522-02: 230V
MODERN, EASY TO USE INTERFACE
There are two basic and advanced interfaces: with or without GLP information, real-time, and data logging.
COLOR LCD GRAPHIC DISPLAY
Graphic display, and customizable color configuration. The display allows real-time and virtual keys to provide intuitive user support.
TOUCH KEYBOARD
Capacitive touch keypad for precise navigation of menus and screens. There are 4 dedicated keys used frequently including calibration and switching measurement modes and 4 virtual keys that change when used. Capacitive touch technology ensures the buttons never get stuck.
4-RING CONDUCTIVITY PROBE
The 4 rings are made of platinum and the electrode body is made of Polyetherimide (PEI) plastic which is resistant to many harsh chemicals.
4 ring design allows measurement in a wide range of scales.
For the measurement of high purity water used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, the HI5522 is programmed with the three stages of the USP <645> method. When a stage is met, a report is generated and can be saved.
DATA TRANSMISSION
Data can be transferred to a computer with the USB cable and HI92000 software.
2 INDEPENDENT CHANNELS
– Channel 1: pH/ORP/ISE
– Channel 2: EC/TDS/Salinity
REAL-TIME DATA RECORDING
– 3 logging modes are available on the HI5522: automatic, manual, and AutoHold.
– Manual and automatic recording of up to 100 batches with up to 50,000 records/batch, for a total of up to 100,000 data points.
– Automatic recording feature to save data by time and sampling interval.
ISE concentration unit options
The HI5522 allows for calibration and readings in a variety of concentration units. Selectable concentration units include ppt, g/L, mg/ml, ppm, µg/L, mg/L, ppb, M, mol/L, mmol/L,% w/v and a user selectable unit.
ISE measurement method
Known Addition, Known Subtraction, Analytical Addition, and Analytical Subtraction are pre-programmed into the HI5522. Simply follow the on-screen instructions and the meter will automatically calculate with greater accuracy.
CAL Check™
Hanna Instruments exclusive CAL Check™ feature alerts the user to problems during calibration such as contaminated buffers or probes that need to be cleaned or replaced.
SELECT CALIBRATION TYPE
– pH calibration with automatic, semi-automatic, direct buffer recognition and direct manual entry options available for up to five-point calibration, with eight standard buffers and up to five custom buffers.
– Conductivity calibration can be set to automatically recognize standards or manually enter user standards along with a choice of single or multi-point. Calibration can be performed up to 4 points when multi-point is selected.
GLP DATA
– HI5522 includes a GLP feature that allows users to view calibration data and calibration expiration information with the touch of a button.
– Calibration data includes date, time, buffer/standard used for calibration, Offset and slope can be accessed at any time along with the current measurement by selecting the GLP option.
– The overall probe condition based on the characteristic offset and slope of the electrodes is displayed as a percentage after calibration is complete.
