Measuring air velocity and accurately calculating volume flow at ventilation openings is not simple. The turbulence created here makes measurements difficult and inaccurate. Do not worry! The testo 417 vane wind velocity meter and the included testovent 417 measuring funnel set will help you solve these problems easily.
The testo 417 with integrated 100 mm impeller is used to measure wind velocity, volume flow and temperature at the same time. The measuring funnels included in the kit allow precise volumetric flow measurements at ventilation openings. The volume flow rate is automatically calculated and displayed directly on the screen of the testo 417. In addition, you can also display the current temperature measurement value with just 1 button.
testo 417 is capable calculates multi-point and time averages, providing indicators of average flow, wind speed and temperature indices. The testo 417 wind velocity meter also displays the direction of air flow (in/out), max./min values. and the HOLD function allows current readings to be retained. With the integrated display backlight you can also perform measurement tasks even in low-light environments.
In particular, with the included testovent 417 measuring funnel accessory set, you can be completely assured of accuracy when performing measurements at poppet valves and ventilation openings.
