MPLAB® PM3 Universal Device Programmer is easy to use and can operate with a computer or as a standalone device, and is capable of programming Microchip's entire line of PIC® devices as well as the new dsPIC® DSC devices best. When used independently, data can be loaded and saved using an SD/MMC card (not included).

- PC Host mode for complete control
- Safe mode to protect data
- Standalone mode for programming without a computer
Comprehensive line of interchangeable socket modules supporting all Microchip devices and package options (sold separately)
SQTPsm serialization to program unique serial numbers when in PC Host mode
An alternative DOS command line interface is available for batch control
Supports PROMATE® II socket modules via adapter (sold separately)
Large, easy-to-read display
Firmware can be upgraded in-place allowing for quick support of new devices
Supports Secure Digital (SD) and Multimedia (MMC) cards
Buzzer announcement for noisy environments
