Using ratchet: Rotate the ratchet wheel 3 to 5 turns after the measuring surface lightly touches the measuring sample, to ensure uniform measuring force. Avoid using too much force to avoid causing errors.
Maintenance and cleaning: Before and after use, keep the measuring surface and base of the micrometer clean. Wipe the device with a soft, lint-free cloth, and use micrometer lubricant or RP7 solution to protect the device from rust.
