Mitutoyo 137-201 Mechanical Micrometer
Inside Micrometers is a length measuring instrument based on the screw thread principle, invented by Gascoigne in 1638. Mitutoyo 137-201 is manufactured using modern Japanese technology, with many options for measuring range, accuracy, measuring speed and data entry.
Advantages of Mitutoyo 137-201 Internal Micrometer
Measuring Range and Connecting Rods: The micrometer has a measuring range of 50 – 150 mm and comes with extension bars of 13 mm, 25 mm, and 50 mm. The extension bars are interchangeable, providing flexible measuring range and suitable for different measuring needs.
Material and Design: The micrometer frame is electrostatically painted at temperatures above 65°C (150°F), making the painted surface shiny and durable. The two measuring heads are coated with wear-resistant carbide, enhancing the durability and life of the device.
Storage and Transportation: The panme is contained in a plastic or wooden box, which helps protect the device better and is convenient for storage and transportation.

How to Measure: Use a ratchet stopper to ensure consistent measuring force. Place the measuring surface and the sample in light contact, then rotate the ratchet stopper approximately 3 to 5 times to achieve the appropriate measuring force.
Preserve: Store the micrometer in a dry place, away from moisture. Make sure to check and calibrate regularly to maintain accuracy. Clean the measuring surface with a clean, dust-free paper or suitable cleaning solution. After use, remove the connecting rods and micrometer heads, clean them thoroughly and store them properly in the case.
Notes When Using: Avoid measuring rotating or moving parts. Be sure not to drop the micrometer and keep the measuring surface free of dust.
