Mitutoyo Electronic Outside Micrometer
Digital Outside Micrometers are length measuring instruments based on the screw thread principle to measure linear distances, invented by Gascoigne in 1638. Mitutoyo products are manufactured using modern Japanese technology, are IP65 waterproof, with many options for measuring range, accuracy, measuring speed, mm-inch display, and data entry after measurement.
Mitutoyo 293-140-30 Digital Micrometer
Model 293-140-30 is compactly designed with a measuring range of 0 - 25mm, a display of 0.001mm and an accuracy of ±1µm. This product is very suitable for measuring the length, outer diameter of round parts and material thickness in engineering industries such as construction, mechanical engineering, molds, automobiles, furniture, with high accuracy.
Advantages of Electronic Outside Micrometer
ABSOLUTE Technology: Using a rotating electromagnetic induction reader combined with ABSOLUTE technology, it accurately determines the measurement position immediately upon power-up without the need for adjustment or resetting.
Exquisite Design: The measuring head is coated with anti-wear layer (carbide), increasing durability and service life.
High Stability: The sliding cup helps maintain a constant measuring force, ensuring accurate and stable measurement results.
Storage and Use: The panme uses a Hg-free SR44 battery, which is environmentally friendly and increases the service life. The device has low voltage and measurement value error warning functions, and is stored in a plastic or wooden box for better protection. It should be stored in a dry place, away from moisture, and checked regularly for accurate calibration.
Notes When Using Electronic Panme
Preserve: Keep the micrometer in a dry place, away from moisture and high humidity. Do not use to measure rotating or moving parts and avoid dropping the micrometer on a hard surface.
Toilet: Keep the micrometer clean and free of dust. Clean the surface of the two measuring heads with a clean, dust-free paper or RP7 solution, then wipe again with a clean, dust-free paper.
Usage Notes: Avoid storing the micrometer with other repair or machining tools to avoid damage. After use, clean it thoroughly and place it in the correct position in the case. The automatic On/Off function will be activated when the micrometer is not operated continuously for about 20 minutes; when the main shaft is rotated, the micrometer will operate again. If the micrometer does not operate or the measurement is not accurate, contact us to check and evaluate the condition of the equipment.
