Mitutoyo Electronic Outside Micrometer
Digital outside micrometers are length measuring instruments that operate on the principle of using screw threads to measure linear distances, originating from Gascoigne's invention in 1638. Mitutoyo digital micrometers are manufactured in Japan with modern technology, IP65 water resistance, and have many options for measuring range, accuracy and measuring speed, suitable for many different applications in engineering.
Mitutoyo 293-336-30 Digital Micrometer
Model 293-336-30 has a compact design with a measuring range of 25 – 50mm / 1 – 2”, measuring in 2 metric and inch units. Accuracy of ±0.00005” / ±1 µm, along with IP65 water resistance, makes the device suitable for applications measuring length, outside diameter of round parts, or material thickness in industries such as mechanical engineering, construction, and interior design.
Advantages of Electronic Outside Micrometer
ABSOLUTE Technology: Integrated rotating electromagnetic induction and ABSOLUTE technology help to accurately locate the measuring position immediately upon power-up without recalibration.
Durable Design: The measuring tip is coated with anti-wear layer (carbide), prolonging the life and durability of the device.
High Stability: The sliding cup helps to create a constant measuring force, ensuring accurate and stable results.
Storage and Use
The device uses a Mitutoyo SR44 battery that does not contain Hg, helping to protect the environment and prolong the usage time. The low voltage and measurement error warning functions help users know when to maintain the device. Electronic micrometers should be stored in a dry place, away from moisture to ensure the accuracy and life of the device.
