Force and mechanical measuring equipment
Ammonia from fertilizer or animal manure, when oxidized, produces nitrate, which is one of the three most essential nutrients for plants (along with phosphorus and potassium).
Use the LAQUAtwin B-342* meter to measure nitrate ion content with only 0.3mL of sample**.
(*) Can only detect ions in water; It is not possible to measure electrolytes in oil. Ion measurements can be affected by unwanted ions.
(**) 0.05mL when using Horiba sampling plates.

*1 Display flashes when value is out of measuring range
*2 IP67: withstands water at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes; But cannot be used underwater
*3 Soil sample test kit (for B-342):
– 04 Pipettes
– 01 bottle of electrode cleaning solution (250mL)
– 03 bottles of extraction solution (100mL)
– 02 Sampling spoons
– 01 Tweezers
– 01 set of sampling plates
– 02 Sampling plate holders
*4 The ion selectivity coefficient is the ratio between the concentration of the interfering ion and the ion to be measured. For example, the selectivity coefficient of potassium over sodium is 1 x 10^-2, which means that in a sample with equal potassium and sodium ion concentrations, the sodium ion measurement will be approximately x 10^-2 (1%).
