Standard APIs for NI LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Microsoft programming languages make it simple to program the USB-4065. The interface of the NI-DMM Soft Front Panel is easy to use for basic benchtop measurements. Furthermore, LabVIEW's DMM/Switch Express VI makes it easier to quickly create high-channel-count data-logging systems.
At 10 readings/s, this device can achieve resolution of 6 1⁄ 2 digits; at lower resolutions, it can achieve up to 3000 readings/s. By trading off speed for resolution, users can maximize throughput and measure quality. Like other GPIB, LAN, or USB-based instruments, the USB-4065's accuracy holds true throughout a 24-hour cycle or a year with external calibration.
With range or function changes at 10/s and trigger latency of less than 1 μs, the USB-4065 exhibition quick system speed characteristics. It ensures effective data capture with a maximum trigger rate of 2.5 kHz.
The device has auto range timings for resistance, voltage, and current measurements for DC functions. It also has an efficient common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and overrange protection. The same goes for AC functions, which also include overrange protection, coupling, input impedance, and CMRR parameters.
The operating temperatures and relative humidity ranges for the USB-4065 are 0 °C to 45 °C and 10% to 90%, respectively. It can be stored in a temperature range of -40 °C to 70 °C with a relative humidity of 5% to 95%, which guarantees durability.
