Characteristic
Due to the Minamata Convention on Mercury, the demand for mercury-free products has increased dramatically in recent times.
The SK-810PT is a professional digital thermometer that replaces the conventional standard mercury thermometer to meet that need.
Not only is it portable and easy to operate, but it also allows extremely precise measurements with a high resolution of 0.01°C valid over the entire measuring range from −100 to 360°C and a maximum accuracy of ±0.16°C achieved by precision platinum thermistor sensors.
■ Various probe types
We offer seven different types of 4-wire Pt100 platinum resistance thermistor probes to meet a variety of applications as follows. All probes and main parts are interchangeable. Purchase at least one probe to use with the SK-810PT.
● Low/medium/high temperature probe (6 types depending on the shape of the handle)
These probes memorize the response trend of the internal 4-wire Pt100 to allow the master unit to compensate for the calculation so that they have an overall accuracy (sum of probe and master unit errors) of ±0.16°C over the entire measuring range of each probe.
It is recommended to use the appropriate probe depending on the temperature of the object as it may reduce the sensor life or damage the stability when using the same probe in case of large temperature changes.

These probes memorize its response tendency of 4-wire Pt100 inside it to let the main unit compensate the calculation so that they have total accuracy (summary of errors by a probe and a main unit) of ±0.16°C in the whole measuring range of each probe.
It is recommended to use appropriate probes depends on object temperature as it may shorten the life of sensors or damage stability to use the same probe in an excessively large temperature change.

The optional probes can fully show the performance of the SK-810PT digital thermometer. In order to stably use for a long period, the probes are specified for low, medium, and high temperature ranges. The general purpose type covered -100 to 200°C is also provided.

The sensing element is a platinum resistance temperature detector (Pt100, 4-wire) that ensures a maximum accuracy of ±0.16°C in each range by memorizing the characteristics of the individual element in the sensing part and having correction in the internal circuit of the main unit.
