SATO SK-8950 Round Laser Waterproof Infrared Thermometer (−60 to 550°C)
The SK-8950 is an infrared thermometer with a wide measurement range from –60°C to 550°C, with IP54 dustproof/waterproof performance allowing use with wet hands. A circular laser marker makes it easy to focus on the target. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.10 to 1.00 in steps of 0.01.

■ Fast, non-contact surface temperature measurement is hygienic and safe even at high temperatures, high altitudes and for hazardous objects.
■ Round laser marker helps you specify measurement points at a glance.

■ Displays maximum/minimum values, average values and temperature differences during measurement.

■ Auto power off function
The measured value will be held on the LCD screen for 1 minute after the trigger is released, then the power will be automatically turned off, to avoid running out of battery even if you forget to turn it off.

SK-8950 is an infrared thermometer with a wide measuring range from –60°C to 550°C, with IP54 dustproof/waterproof performance to enable handling in wet hands. A circular laser marker makes you focus on the target easily. Emissivity is adjustable between 0.10 and 1.00 in steps of 0.01.

■ Caution! This device is for industrial use, not for clinical use.
■ What is the distance-to-spot ratio?
A distance-to-spot ratio, which is the ratio of the Distance between the object and the thermometer to the size of the Spot, is preset at D:S = 12:1 for SK-8950. For example, if the distance is 600 mm, a spot circle of diameter 50 mm can be measured. Make sure that the object is larger than the circle.
The spot circle is defined as an area to receive 90% of the emitted energy from the object.
■ Positional relation between the actual measured area and the laser marker circle SK-8950 emits a circular laser marker.
The laser circle and the real measuring spot area fully overlap when the measurement distance is 2000 mm.
■ Warning: Do not look into the laser marker source or point it on eyes as it may damage eyes.
SK-8950 conforms to the Class II in the Standard for Safe Use of Laser Products (JIS C6802) which is defined as follows: A visible light (wavelength between 400 and 700 nm) with an output level less than 1 mW that a human's protective response can resist.
PSC mark is labeled on the device to prove its quality based on Japan's Consumer Product Safety Act.
