The HI83900 Lysimeter is used to extract soil solutions for chemical analysis of nutrients important to plant growth. The HI83900 allows growers to easily monitor fertilizer nutrient levels such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K).
– Three optional tube lengths: 30cm, 60cm, 90cm
– Sintered ceramic cap for uncompressed samples.

THREE LENGTH OPTIONS
Hanna offers the HI83900 in three different lengths: 30 cm, 60 cm or 90 cm. Regardless of the depth of the root system, users can easily extract a soil solution that represents the concentration of nutrients available for plant uptake.
LID OF Sintered Ceramic
The ceramic tip of the measuring tube can be used on all types of soil. It is made of sintered material that does not react with nutrients in the soil. Therefore, the collected soil solution is not affected by the chemical composition of the ceramic cap resulting in accurate and reliable tests.
SYRINGE AND FINGER CLIP
A 30 mL syringe and finger clip are included to assist the user in creating a vacuum inside the sampling tube quickly and efficiently.
EASY TO CLEAN
The measuring tube must be sterile and free of air bubbles before placing it in the root zone for extraction. Cleaning solution is provided with the HI83900 to fully activate the porous ceramic tube and tip
