WATER HARDNESS
Water hardness is defined as the ability of water to precipitate. The ions in water that precipitate the most are calcium and magnesium. Therefore, water hardness testing is usually a quantitative measure of these ions in a water sample. It can also detect other ions, such as iron, zinc, and manganese, that contribute to the total hardness. Water hardness control measures are essential to prevent scale buildup and blockages in water pipes.
TOTAL HARDNESS MEASUREMENT BY TITRATION METHOD
– Measuring range 0.0 to 30.0 mg/L CaCO3 in increments of 0.3 mg/L
– Measuring range 0 to 300 mg/L CaCO3 in increments of 3 mg/L
REAGENTS ARE CLEARLY LABELED AND QUANTIFIED
– Reagents are coded and named for easy use with step-by-step instructions.
- Cost savings.
– Reagents can be purchased again when they run out without having to repurchase the entire item code.
