CHẤT HOẠT ĐỘNG BỀ MẶT

Chất hoạt động bề mặt làm giảm sức căng bề mặt tại mặt phân cách giữa chất lỏng và chất rắn, lỏng hoặc khí khác, chúng được sử dụng trong công nghiệp, nông nghiệp, nghiên cứu khoa học và đời sống hàng ngày (chất tẩy rửa, chất tẩy vết bẩn, mỹ phẩm,…). Các chất hoạt động bề mặt anion được sử dụng rộng rãi nhất bao gồm sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (SDBS), sodium dodecane sulfonate (SDSA), sodium dioctyl sulfosuccinate (SDOSSA).

Xác định chất hoạt động bề mặt anion bằng phép đo chỉ số Methylene Blue Active Substances (MBAS). Chất hoạt động bề mặt anion phản ứng với Methylene xanh trong môi trường kiềm, phản ứng này tạo ra muối được chiết xuất bằng clorofom. Màu xanh lam của pha hữu cơ được xác định bằng phương pháp quang.
