Force and mechanical measuring equipment
– Reagents for determination total nitrogen in wastewater
– Magnetic scale 0.0 to 25.0 mg/L (ppm) N
– By chromotropic acid method at @420nm
– Use with sample digester (required)
– Reagents are clearly marked and easy to use.
– Supplied with COA and MSDS.
REQUIRED USE WITH SAMPLE DIGESTIONER
This method is based on an adaptation of the chromotropic acid method in which digestion is required to convert all forms of nitrogen to nitrate. Sodium metabisulfite is added to reduce interferences. The reaction between nitrate and the reagent produces a yellow color in the sample. The intensity of the color is determined by a compatible photometer and the concentration is displayed in mg/L (ppm) of total nitrogen.
