The IKO Precision Ball Slide is an extremely compact and lightweight linear motion rolling guide with the track portion and mounting surface integrated, made into a rolling guide by precisely molding a stainless steel plate into a U shape. Since high performance and quality can be stably maintained for a long period of time, it is widely used as a precision linear motion rolling guide for the magnetic head guiding parts of precision measurement instruments and computer external storage devices, and also as a functional part for precision linear motion such as for semiconductor manufacturing and testing and inspection equipment. Models are available in abundant performances and sizes, and can be selected according to the application.

The excellent retaining and guiding mechanism of the ball and precisely-finished raceway surface realizes very quiet and smooth linear motion with small frictional resistance. High response characteristics and positioning accuracy are obtained for micro-feeding operation as well.
Since non-combustible or self-extinguishing materials are used for all synthetic resin components, they may be used for a wide range of applications including household appliances or office automation equipment that requires incombustibility.
It has been reduced in weight by integrating the parts necessary for linear motion mechanism to the extent possible, and miniaturized by functionally arranging each part, which allows the linear motion guiding parts to be significantly reduced in weight and size.
Since two rows of steel balls are in contact with the raceway at four points, it has a stable load capacity against loads in all directions. Moreover, since the structure is simple, machining and assembly errors are fewer and high motion accuracy can be obtained.
